It's been slow to make ice, it feels like it's been winter for awhile, but it's the first day there has been enough to be out and luckily we had a deep freeze, so it froze fast, not a long time to wait for it to be safe enough....
Grabbed a bucket of shiners and set out. Caught a few. Little perch, some nice eater crappies and northern!
